Dr. Haseeb Alam
MBBS, AMC, FRACGP
In 2004, Dr Alam completed and graduated (MBBS) in Pakistan, and migrated to Australia in 2005. He worked in Emergency Departments with Queensland Health and NSW Health for 3 years consecutive before deciding to become a General Practitioner in 2008, and Dr Alam started practicing in Nerang in the same year. He has since been the Principal GP at Doctors @ Nerang Mall and he earned his Fellowship in General Practice with the Royal College of General Practitioners [RACGP] in 2012.
His major Interests are: Diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol management, geriatrics, mental health especially youth mental health issues, musculoskeletal problems especially arthritis and injectable nutrients therapy (vitamin C, etc.) and all emergencies.
Dr Haseeb Alam is currently training to be an acupuncturist and is a strong believer in alternative treatments such as vitamin and nutrition support, especially injectable/infusion nutrients therapy.
His personal interests are Cricket and movies.
Dr Alam speaks Urdu, Punjabi.
Dr. Mohsen Hassani
Dr Hassani graduated in 2003 with a doctorate of Medicine in Iran. He came for a holiday to Australia in 2007 and he decided to move here. He has been practicing with the Nerang communities since 2009. Dr Hassani obtained his Fellowship in Royale Australian College of General Practitioners in 2010. He is currently studying to obtain his Masters Degree in Skin Cancer.
Dr Hassani’s field of interest are skin cancer screening & procedures, chronic diseases management such as diabetes, asthma, COPD, and musculoskeletal.
His personal interests are Basketball, music, theatre and dance.
Dr Hassani speak Persian.
Dr. Hossein Kalantar
In 1995, Dr Kalantar graduated from Ahvaz Jondishapour University of Medical Science, in Iran. From 2003 to 2012, he practiced as a GP and as a Senior Medical Officer at major hospitals in Iran. During that period he published two International Papers in the field of kidney and skin diseases.
Dr Kalantar’s field of interest are heart diseases, mental disorders, and the management of chronic diseases. His personal interest: Classic music, dance, mountain climbing.
Dr Kalantar speaks Persian.
Dr. Ali Soleymani
Dr Soleymani graduated in Iran, at Tehran University of Medical Sciences in 2003. He then followed his passion in research at the Endocrinology Research Centre where he published his first article about the effects of thymectomy in Patients in “PubMed” magazine. During 2004, Dr Soleymani started working in different parts of Iran as a Family Physician. He moved to Australia in 2009 continuing his career as a General Practitioner on the Gold Coast.
In 2011, he earned his Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
His main interest are in endocrinology and chronic diseases such as diabetes, thyroid issues, autoimmune diseases, arthritis and infectious diseases.
Dr Soleymani speaks Persian.
Dr Narsimha Kaladhar Rao Vuthpala (Dr Kal)
Dr Kal graduated with a MBBS from the RGUHS University of Bangalore in India in 2002. He then moved to Glasgow (Scotland) in 2003 to train as a General Practitioner and obtained his MRCGP [UK] in 2010. He obtained a PG Diploma in Diabetes from the University of Westminster and he practiced at the Victoria Infirmary Hospital in Glasgow as well being a Principal GP in Scotland.
Dr Kal moved to Australia in 2017. He was awarded his Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) .
Dr Kal speaks Hindi and Telugu.
Dr. Sahar Firouzinezhad
Dr. Sahar graduated with a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in 2003 from the University in Isfahan (Iran). She was working for 9 years as a GP in Iran. During that period, Dr Sahar completed a 4 year training in Sports Medicine at the University of Tehran (Iran). In 2012, she migrated to Australia and she has been working as a GP in since 2015.
Dr Sahar obtained her Fellowship in the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner (FRACGP) in Feb. 2017.
She has a very keen interest in Women’s Health, preventative medicine, management of chronic medical conditions, in addition to treatment of sports injuries.
Dr Sahar speaks Persian.
Dr. Abdulla Yousuf
In 1994 Dr Yousuf graduated [MBBS] from the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh and since then practiced as a family physician in two major cities in Bangladesh. He migrated to Australia in 2002 and Dr Yousuf obtained his Fellowship in General Practice with the Royal College of General Practitioners [RACGP].
From 2002 to 2009 Dr Yousuf worked as an after-hours emergency doctor on the Gold Coast. Since then, he has been working as a GP in our practice.
Dr Yousufs’ fields of interest, are in management of chronic diseases, mental Health issues, and skin treatments.
Dr Yousuf speaks Bengali.
Dr. Nasreen Akhter
Dr. Nasreen Akhter is from Bangladesh graduated from Dhaka University in 1994 and has been practicing medicine since. She is a Fellow of the RACGP and has been practicing in Australia since 2003. She has special interest in Women’s Health.
Dr. Nasreen speaks Bengali.
